Both psychological and physical fidelity deal with creating training environments that are only partially similar to real situations. At a basic level, it deals with having trainees experiment in scenarios that are NOT likely to occur in real life. This allows trainees to generalize behaviours.
Psychological Fidelity
The extent to which a simulation or training environment accurately replicates the psychological aspects of a real-world scenario.
Training Environments
The settings or platforms in which training activities and learning processes occur, ranging from traditional classrooms to virtual spaces.
Partially Similar
Sharing some but not all characteristics or features, indicating a degree of resemblance but also differences.
