Compare and contrast the differences in the ways men and women communicate.

Although men and women are equal,they are different.According to the latest research,so too is the way in which men and women communicate.In general,the research demonstrates that women tend to use communication to connect with others;they express feelings,empathize and build relationships.In contrast,men tend to use communication to assert their status and request action;in so doing they tend to use more direct,succinct language.Women,however,tend to be more indirect,vague and even apologetic when they speak.This language pattern demonstrates not only how women pay deference to others but also why some business associates view women as inferior to men.
