The larger the p-value,the more likely one is to reject the null hypothesis.

Null Hypothesis

A default hypothesis that there is no significant difference or effect, used as a starting point for statistical testing.

P-Value

The probability of observing test results at least as extreme as the results actually observed, under the assumption that the null hypothesis is true.

  • Familiarize oneself with the notion and numerical determination of p-values during hypothesis analysis.
  • Gain the ability to decide on the null hypothesis' rejection or non-rejection based on the p-value and significance level.
