Two 1930s studios have optioned your life story for a biopic: MGM and Warner Bros. How would Irving Thalberg's (MGM) and Darryl Zanuck's (WB) approaches to your life story differ, based on their respective studio styles? What Golden Age stars might best encapsulate your life story?

MGM would put literariness and prestige first, making an Oscar-bait biopic, while WB would place gritty realism at the forefront.Actors could include Crawford (strong and beautiful), Davis (stubborn and spoiled), de Havilland (wholesome), Garbo (sexy and mysterious), and Cagney (tough guy).

Describe Hollywood's relationship to television in the early 1950s.

Hollywood could not directly own networks because of the Paramount Decree, and so network licenses went to radio networks. Thus, television was a competitor and bled the film audience in the post-World War II era (along with the baby boom and migrations to the suburbs). However, Hollywood did rent out its backlots to television productions and could produce content for television networks. Moreover, it would license old films for television broadcast via second-run contracts, which brought in ancillary revenue.
