Trace the journey of the sperm from the epididymis to the vagina.

The sperm travels via the vas deferens, after being produced in the testes and stored in the epididymis, through the abdominal cavity, over the bladder, to the ampulla. The vas deferens receives fluid from the seminal vesicles and joins the ejaculatory duct in the prostate gland, where about a third of the seminal fluid is added. During orgasm, the semen containing the sperm is forced out of the urethra in a two-stage process.
