Why is building a buyer persona better than developing research in customer demographics and psychographics?

Demographics and psychographics can be helpful,but the buyer persona goes deeper and offers a more complete picture of the customer,especially with respect to behavior.At best they give you a buyer profile,which is mostly demographic information and general data about daily habits.Buyer personas,however,are developed through interviews with prospective customers (when it is done well),which offers a picture of their needs or interests,attitudes,trusts,influence,and the relevance of your product to them.
