Explain the correct sequence of events that occurs during the secondary succession of a forest.
On Jul 02, 2024
During secondary succession, there is already soil present. Assumably there will be seeds within the seed bank of the soil and grasses will grow. Next will come the low shrubs, followed by taller shrubs. These will give way to a shrub/tree mix and eventually trees will crowd out the shrubs. Over time, these will mature into taller trees and eventually a climax community.

How does UV light damage skin?
On Apr 29, 2024
It causes collagen and elastin fibers to clump, making the skin less elastic and more prone to wrinkling. Damage to DNA can lead to skin cancer. Exposure to UV light can break down folate, one of the B vitamins.
