Technical skills training is training for job-specific skills that all employees need in order to perform their jobs. An example would be workers on an automobile manufacturing assembly line receiving specific training required to perform the tasks associated with that job, such as techniques and procedures for proper part installation and assembly. Non-technical skills training refers to training in a variety of skills that are required to work and interact with others. Examples of non-technical skills training include communication skills, interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and so on.
