Seller, through no fault of its own, is unable to deliver the goods to buyer because the agreed type of carrier is unavailable. Explain what the Code requires.

The Code provides that when neither party is at fault and the agreed-upon manner of delivering the goods becomes commercially impracticable, a substituted manner of performance, if commercially reasonable, must be tendered and accepted. When a practical alternative or substitute exists, the Code excuses neither seller nor buyer on the ground that delivery in the express manner provided in the contract is impossible.
